Funeral service for Carrell William Livingston, 81, will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Shoal Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Bass and Rev. Gary Linville officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church.
Mr. Livingston died on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 3, 1932, in Morgan County to John Henry and Lillie L Speegle Livingston. Mr. Livingston was a member and a deacon at Shoal Creek Baptist Church, where he was the overseer of the cemetery for many years. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army. He worked for General Motors as a maintenance worker. He retired from GM in 1999. He was a great man of God and a family man, who loved and cared for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Robert H. Livingston and a sister: Lottie Echols.
