FLORENCE– The roads are wet and sluggish, the sky is grey, but where is the snow?
At 12:45 a.m. this morning, it began sleeting in downtown Florence on Sam Phillips Street, but so far it has not done much else. At around 11:45 a.m, the rain turned to snow for ten minutes, before warming up to sleet.
Weather report predictions are ranging from 2-4 inches of snow in the afternoon, or is it going to rain all day because it’s too warm to snow? Expect the rain to be in a state of flux for duration of the day.
The weather may get bad, or the worst may pass us by. All we can do in the meantime is prepare and keep informed, so we can all stay safe.
Everyone should keep in mind to dress in layers and be careful on the roads, when outside. And remember Will it rain or will it snow?
