Funeral service for Mrs. Anna Lucille (Goggins) Herrell, age 82, of Decatur (formerly of Monterey, TN), will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 14, 2014, at Horner Funeral Home, Monterey, TN, with Bro. Glen Goggins officiating and Horner Funeral Home directing. Shelton Funeral Home assisted the family in Decatur, AL. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Herrell, who died Monday, February 10, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital was born July 28, 1931, in Crawford, TN, to the late Willie Snow Goggins and Laura Melissa Copeland Goggins. She had the biggest heart and would help anyone.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Doyle Herrell of Decatur; two daughters, Andrea Rehr (Norman) of Trinity, and Beverly Fard of Decatur; one brother, Glen Goggins of Monterey, TN; three grandchildren, Christie Jacobson (Brent), Glen Rehr (Stefanie), and Michael Fard; and three great-grandchildren, Laura Melissa Jacobson, Tyler Elliot Jacobson, and Elizabeth Rachel Rehr.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
