Funeral service for Autumn Sierra Abbigail Serda, age 11, of Trinity, will be Thursday, February 6, 12:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Edward King officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Sierra, who died Friday, January 31, 2014 in an auto accident, was born May 9, 2002 in Morgan County, to Michael Lee Serda and Anita Brown. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Maurice “Butch” Serda and Tommy Brown.
She is survived by her mother, Anita Brown Lewter (Jeremy) of Elkmont; her brother, Blake Spurgeon of Ardmore, AL; her grandparents, Donald and Rhonda Dunn of Trinity and Dona Hill Serda of Hillsboro; her step-sister, Amber Lewter and step-brother Will Lewter both of Elkmont.
Pallbearers will be Tim Serda, Justin Cagle, James Serda, Tommy Behm, Mark Garrison and Jonathon Cagle.

I was Sierra’s best friend, “Samantha Brewer”. I cried my eyes out when I heard she died. It is very hard for me to cry. After my grandma and grandpa left, I started to cry my eyes out of my head and up to heaven. I just wish Sierra was here another year with me. She would love seventh grade. Her mom told me how much she kept talking about coming back to East Lawrence. Sometimes I wish it were me instead of her. I love you so much Sierra.
