Ann B. Cantrell, age 79, formerly of Hackleburg, passed away on Jan. 30,
2014, at Terrance Manor Nursing home.
She was a member of the Hackleburg Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Visitation will be today from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral
immediately following at the Hamilton Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar
Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg. James Cotton will be officiating.
Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her daughter, Cary (Tim) Raper; her son, Leon
Cantrell; grandchildren, Major Raper (girlfriend, April), Casey Raper
(fiancée, Kayla), and Vince Cantrell, all of Hackleburg; great-grandchildren,
Trent and Abi Raper, of Winfield; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Cantrell; parents, Jelly and
Eva Mae Braden; and brother, James Earl Braden.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kevin G. Kelly, all the staff at Terrace
Manor Nursing Home, and Hospice of North Alabama for their care of our
mother and grandmother
