rachelRachel Williams Gautney age 87, of Killen, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, from 11:00 pm until 12:00 noon at Killen United Methodist Church. The service will follow at 12:00 noon with Brother McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews. Mrs. Gautney was a life-long residence of Killen and a member of Killen United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being with her church family and singing in the choir. She enjoyed traveling with friends and activities with “Prime Timers”. At home she looked forward to spending time with her family, cooking and gardening. Preceded her in death was her husband, Robert Earl Gautney, Sr.; sister, Zelma Williams; brothers, Willie, Elmer, and twin brother, Roy Williams; granddaughters, Mary Julianne and Jennifer Casey Gautney. Survivors are her son, Bobby “Robert” E. Gautney, Jr. (Mary Lea); grandson, Jonathan Bailey Gautney (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Jeremiah Gautney. A special thanks to the staff at Hilltop Assisted Living, and Glenwood Nursing Home. In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of our choice.
Service at 12:00 PM at Killen United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 1st, 2014
