Haywood Junior Glaze, age 70, of Muscle Shoals, was born Sept. 24, 1943, and died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014. His family will receive friends today, 6-9 p.m., at Ford City Baptist Church. His funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary with Mark Jones and Brother Fox officiating and music by Scotty Jones. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Blanche Glaze; his son, Howard Glaze; and grandson, Robbie Nelms Jr.
Junior and Sherry were married 27 years. His children are Sonya Pace and husband, Chuck, and Teresa Nelson and husband, Mike; seven brothers; two sisters; three stepsons; one stepdaughter; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Junior was loved by many and will be missed, especially by his special friend, “Molly B”.
His family will serve as pallbearers.
