Our angel has returned to Heaven. Rebecca Ondyna Hogland, age 67, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Jan. 21, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Visitation will be today, noon-2, at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia.
Her funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Larry Smart officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Ondyna was a retired school teacher. She taught in the Colbert County school system for 35 years and retired in 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Hogland; father, John W. Davis; daughters, Kelly Thompson and husband, Brian, of Tuscumbia, and Jana Moore and husband, Travis, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; brother, John W. Davis and wife, Lori, of Germantown, Tenn.; and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Jordan, and Jake Thompson.
Pallbearers are Jonathan Thompson, Christian Zak, Jason Zak, and Brian Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dystonia Foundation.
