Florence Man Arrested for December Burglary

FLORENCE-The Florence Police have just made an arrest in a burglary that took place in December of 2013.  Here is what the police have to report:

” Florence Police have arrested Joseph Demetrius Rice, 45, of Redbud Street in Florence and charged him with Burglary and Theft of Property. He is accused of burglarizing a house in the 400 block of West Mobile Street in December and taking electronics. Items from the burglary were recovered by police. Rice was booked into the Lauderdale County Detention Center without incident. *Note* All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.”
