Mr. James Barron Thomas, age 53 of East Henderson Road, Boaz, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at Shepherd’s Cove.
Service will be Saturday Jan. 18, 2014 at Three o’clock p.m. at Union First Congregational Methodist Church with Bro. Doyce Putman officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday afternoon 2 – 3 at the church.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his Daughter: Xan Thomas of Athens, Mother: Roberta Smith of Gadsden, Father & Step-mother: Sherrel & Merdith Thomas of Boaz, Aunts: Agnes Copeland of Glencoe and Ruth Newman of Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Brian Copeland, Colin Stanfield, Brad Cothran, Chad Thomas, Kyle Berry, Dorman Robinson and Greg Lance.
