Funeral services for Larry Lee Marks, 65, of Cullman, will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church with interment in adjoining cemetery, the Revs. Robin Key and Shannon Caudle officiating. The body will lie in state from 1-2 at the church.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Marks passed away Sunday, Jan. 12 at his residence. He was born August 4, 1948 to parents Hugh Lee and Arvie Lee Waldrep Marks. He was a lifelong member of New Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandson, Milze Hart.
Survivors include his mother; two sons, Brian (Trasundra) Marks and Heath (Regina) Marks; one daughter, Kristy (Greg) Bryant; six grandchildren, Brooke Marks, Lexi Marks, Zoe Marks, Tala Manning, Montana Marks, and Lawson Bryant; four brothers, Marty Marks, Michael (Becky) Marks, Phillip (Carey) Marks, and Roger Marks; one sister, Kathy (Jackie) Caudle; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6-8 at the church.
Pallbearers will be Marty Marks, Michael Marks, Landon Marks, Cain Marks, Wayne Trussell, and Jackie Caudle.
Flowers will be accepted, however, donations can be made, in lieu of flowers to the New Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
