Audrey Hester Grissom, 98, Tucson, AZ (formerly of Russellville), passed away on Thursday, January 09, 2014 at the Handmaker Facility, Tucson, AZ.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Officiating at the service will be Fred Allen Grissom. Burial will follow at Franklin Memory Gardens.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Fred Allen Grissom (wife, Margaret), James Neal Grissom (wife, Alyce), Paul Owen Grissom (wife, Marjorie); daughter-in-law, Linda Grissom; grandchildren, Jessica Grissom Brandt, Emily Grissom Lawler, Leigh Grissom, Clark Grissom, Lindsay Grissom Rutherford; great-grandchildren, Shelby Brandt, Luke Brandt, Jake Brandt, Jack Lawler, Hallie Grissom; sister, Dorothy Jarnigan; and a host of nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Grissom was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, William Luther Grissom; son, Carl Hester Grissom; parents, Daniel & Hattie Hester; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
