Funeral for Zellon Elliot Nave, 79, of Decatur will be Thursday, January 9, 2014, at 1 p.m. at First Christian Church with Dr. Cameron Douglas officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Nave, who passed away Monday, January 6, 2014, at Parkway Medical Center, was born November 16, 1934, in Alabama to William and Lottie Nave. He was a member of First Christian Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Survivors include four nephews, Charles Nave of Decatur, Alan Nave of Muscle Shoals, Paul Nave of Atlanta, Ga., and Mark Nave of Hartselle; and one niece, Vanessa Nave Sutterd of Decatur.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1701 Carridale, Street SW, Decatur, AL 35601.
