Roger Frelon Motes, 52, Spruce Pine, passed away on Wednesday, January 01, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He worked in drywall construction. He was known by everyone and loved by all who knew him.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 04, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Jeff Whitten will be speaking at the service. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, David Motes, Eric Motes, Derek Motes, Alicia Motes; grandchildren, Kaylee Motes, Keirra Motes, Kami Motes, Zoey Motes, Leon Motes; brothers, Steve Motes, Jimmy Motes; sister, Debra Motes Swindle; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frelon Parrish Motes; mother, Clara Mae Baker Motes; and brother, Donnie Motes.
