Elling Melle – Obituary

Elling Melle, 76, of Nokomis, Fla., died on December 2, 2013. Elling retired as an Aerospace Engineer for RCA-GE/Lockheed Martin after 38 years. He was an Apollo Space Program Engineer for NASA and computer program diagnostic specialist. He was also a veteran of the US Army. Elling loved sailing, fishing, and good times with friends.

Survivors include his wife, Reble Mae Smith Melle of Nokomis, Fla.; daughters, S. Darlene Bulger of Tewksbury, Mass., Erica Robichaud of Wilmington, Mass., and Inger (Greg) Tucker of North Port, Fla.; sister, Dorothy Waldenstrom of Stockholm, Sweden; grandchildren, Krystal Tucker of Newport News, Va., Christopher Tucker of North Port, Fla., Amanda Robichaud and Rebecca Robichaud, both of Wilmington, Mass., Tyler Bulger and McKenzie Bulger, both of Tewksbury, Mass.; and many caring relatives in Norway.

Visitation will be held today, December 5th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel. Funeral Service will be Friday, December 6th at 10:30 a.m. at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel. Burial will follow in Sarasota National Cemetery.
