Funeral for Marshall Ellis Lauderdale, 68, of Moulton will be Friday, December 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jackie Kay or David Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Lauderdale, who died Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born April 9, 1945, in Houston, Mississippi, to Marshall Wilson Lauderdale and Lucille Yarbrough Lauderdale. He was a retired teacher and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at Wren. He enjoyed hunting, cars, coaching fastpitch softball and teaching.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Daniel Lauderdale; his daughter, Victoria Lynne Lauderdale Harris; sister, LouAnn Dossett; and niece, Marsha Inmon.

Pallbearers will be Faron Terry, Chris Hurst, Marcus Hurst, Phillip Hurst, Edward Kelly, Johnny Sparks, Rodney Sparks, Jason Kelly, Patrick Kelly and Delmar Sparks.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William Borden, Randy Darnell and Rayburn Harris.
