Bruce Allen Trapp, age 55, Phil Campbell, Alabama passed away Friday, September 06, 2013 at ECM Hospital.
The visitation will be from 6-9 pm Sunday, September 08, 2013 at Pleasant Hill FMC Church. The funeral will be at 11 am in the church sanctuary on Monday, September 09, 2013, with Bro. Merrell Potter officiating. Interment will be in East Franklin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jasper Copeland, Dustin Pruett, Will Douglas, Stacy Hardy, Donnie Cummings, Jeremy Lane, Donald Ergle, and .
He was preceded in death by his father, Elton Trapp.
He is survived by his children, Bradley (Kim) Trapp, Dustin Trapp, Lera Bentley; mother & stepfather, Marguerite & Earl Potter; siblings, Brian (Gwenda) Trapp, Valerie (Jeffrey) Copeland, Miriam Trapp; grandchildren, Tasha Trapp, Misty Trapp, McKayla Jones; a host of nieces & nephews.
He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
We want to thank our Lord for Bruce. He loved everyone and everybody loved him in return. Thanks to all our family and friends for all your prayers and support, we love each one of you.

Your grandbabies ken and Ben Johnson will always remember you as there papa for the past 15 years of there life’s its heart breaking for them,when I told them were moving to Alabama first thing that come out of there mouths well were going to papas house I said OK when we get ther I’ll track him down ,to my surprise and shock,not sure why nobody said nothing for the boys cuz even though you weren’t there blood you made them feel you were.you were the only grandpa they had there first steps words you taught ken and Ben to swim fish,if it weren’t for you they wouldn’t of known none of this stuff,I never got to thank you for Helpen me so much I never told you how much that meant and I wished I told you you were the most caren man in the world you did what you could for anybody if you could do so,this is a shock I truely took life for granted again thinken you were aways gonna b here,now your memory and wisdom you taught us will b lived on what you taught the boys they will teach there children down from generation to generation even your poor an soup you use to make,I love you Bruce papa really gonna miss never c n you its was OK known we could c you at least ounce or twice a year but now its for a while,the good die young,but I need you to know ken and ben me to will miss you just wished I new wat happened I’m sure it was your heart again but just don’t know,if there is such thing as spirits hope you read this but most importantly I wanted all to know how much you meant to your grandbabies you helped raise a big portion of there life’s,we love you rip papa Bruce>0
