Funeral service for Norris Ray Wilson, age 70, of Priceville, will be today at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Stanford officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery with Peck directing. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilson, who died on Friday, August 23, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital, was born September 3, 1942, in Moulton to Norris Ray Wilson Sr. and Vernice Reed Wilson. He has been a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church for 45 years, where he led music and was the church treasurer. He was a member of the Somerville Volunteer Fire Department for ten years where he served as an EMT and was a Past-President of the Board.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ann Wilson; son, Brian Keith Wilson (Angie) of Hartselle; daughter, Teresa Kay Wilson Swader (Mike) of Somerville; sister, Carolyn Gillespie (James) of Moulton; and five grandchildren.
The men of his church will serve as pallbearers.
