Shoals Chamber of Commerce President Steve Holt
Chamber President Steve Holt says that this program, now in its 15th year, has given hundreds of students a vital head start in today’s competitive business arena, “In addition, students become familiar with what makes the Shoals area unique. Participants learn about history, culture, business and economic development while getting to know students from both Colbert and Lauderdale Counties.”
Students are also required to participate in community service projects as a group. They build relationships and truly become a team with a common vision. Not only does it enhance cooperation among schools, it develops a greater sense of community pride.
