Chester Nelson Riddle, 88, of Taft, Tennessee passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013, at his residence. Born Wednesday, August 13, 1924 in Huntsville, Alabama he was the son of the late Oliver Chester Riddle and the late Katie Jane Martin Riddle. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Della Mae Riddle and grandson Stan Malone.
Surviving are daughter Charlotte Malone, Taft, TN; sons, James Riddle; Taft, TN; Ralph Riddle, Ardmore, TN; Johnny Riddle, Ardmore, TN; Charles Riddle, Ardmore, TN; Buck Riddle, New Market, AL; sister, Minnie Bee Hale, Taft, TN.
He lived all his life in this area. He enjoyed gardening and visiting with friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles Marable officiating. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery, Hazel Green, AL.
