Mrs. Ruby Odell Rhodes, 91, a lifelong resident of Lauderdale County, passed away July 15, 2013, at Cypress Cove. She was a long time member of North Wood United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. Also, she was a member of the Fidelis Class, Goodwill Club and the Joy Club.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, 2013, from 11-1 p.m. at North Wood United Methodist Church with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Steve Reding. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Rhodes.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph, Dennis, Terry and Tim Rhodes; grandchildren, Mia Welch, Corey, Jeremy, Jeffery, Chance, Tanner, Jazmin, Beverly and Jennifer Rhodes.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rod Stansky and Alacare Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Wood United Methodist Church.
