Samuel Charles ShultzSamuel Charles Shultz, age 64, passed away on October 29, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever cherish the love he gave them.

Born on June 16, 1962, Samuel was raised in Ohatchee, Alabama, where he spent his entire life. He was a hardworking man, a loving husband and father, and a proud grandfather. He was a man who believed in working hard, loving his family, and making the most of the time he had with the people who mattered most.

Samuel found happiness in the simple things in life. He loved hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and attending gun shows. Some of his favorite memories were made on hunting trips and spending time with his grandchildren. Whether he was taking them fishing, enjoying lunch together, or simply being in their company, those moments meant the world to him.

He had a great sense of humor and a way of making people laugh, often leaving them with one of his familiar sayings: “Are you writing a book?” or “Work smarter, not harder.” Those words, along with his humor and personality, will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Above all else, Samuel loved his family. His greatest joy was being a husband, father, and grandfather. His love, hard work, laughter, and the memories he created will never be forgotten.

Samuel leaves behind his loving wife, Veronica; his daughter, Bree, and her spouse, Jordan; and his daughter, Abby. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Samuel, Kenzleigh, Nova, Noah, and Tate, as well as three bonus grandchildren, Bentley, Conner, and Wyatt, and several close friends who all held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Shultz; his mother, Joan Shultz; and his aunt, Doris.

Though his absence leaves an unimaginable emptiness, the lessons he taught, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will continue through the family he cherished so deeply.

He may be gone from our sight, but he will forever be a part of every hunting story, every fishing trip, every family gathering, and every moment that brings a smile through tears.

Until we meet again, we love you, and we will miss you more than words can ever say.

A memorial services will be held at his family lake on Saturday, November 14, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
