Arthur Dillard “A.D.” Young, 90, of Florence passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2026 from 12:30PM until 2:00PM at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The service will immediately follow with Will Ethridge officiating. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. A.D. was preceded in death by his parents, Colonel and Ethel Young; brothers, W.G. and J. C. Young; sisters, Mary Lee Smith, Bertie Mae Sadler, Goldie Atkinson, Estelle Richardson, Opal Creekmore, Elizabeth Robertson; beloved son-in-law, William Angel.
A.D. is survived by his wife, Mary K. Young; children, William “Butch” Young (Melanie), Pam Horton (Jerry), Mark Young (Peggy), and Susan Angel; grandchildren, Jessica Holland (John), Jeremy South (Annie), Drew Angel (MaryBeth), Angel Black (Sam), Robb Young (Kendal), Logan Angel (Mallory), David Horton, Stallings, Kolbie, and Katie Young; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Everett Holland, Jackson and Jase South, Colton, Cason, and Caroline Angel, Marleigh, Makinley, and Maylee Black, Lawton Young, Liam Angel, and Andrew Young.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
