Carolyn Waldrep Ginevan, 80, of Cherokee, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026. The visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Harris Chapel Baptist Church. A graveside service will immediately follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Carolyn was a dedicated elementary school teacher. She is preceded in death by her parents, Euraldene and Louise Waldrep; and husband, Gary McLeod Ginevan.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy McKee; son, Brad Ginevan (Sierra); sister, Linda Turberville (Mark); and grandchildren, Reed McKee, Slade Kelly, Lexi Phillips (Zach), Kaley Ginevan, Cora Ginevan, and Elliott Ginevan.
