Mary Lou Shelton Ledlow, age 80, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on October 30, 2026, following an extended illness.
Mary Lou was born January 11, 1946, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, to Ernest and Emma Fisher Shelton. She graduated from Colbert County High School, where she met Eugene Gary Ledlow. They married January 9, 1965, and made their home in Muscle Shoals.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Gary Ledlow; children, Melissa Timberlake (Michael), Melanie Ledlow (Billy), Jeremy Ledlow (Wendy), and Melinda Isbell (Todd); numerous grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Emma Shelton, and brothers, T.L. “Bobby” Shelton and James Shelton.
A private graveside service was held at Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
