Stella Miller was born 5th of 6 girls on April 1, 1939, in Brownsville KY to Roy and Ada Meredith. In 1958 she married James R. Miller III with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents; her sisters, Mildred, Irene, Mable, and Wanda; and her son, James R. Miller IV.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy Miller Bradley (David) and Susan Miller Shattuck (Jason); her grandchildren, Madison (22), Emily (21), Morgan (19), and Jack (18); and her younger sister, Bea.
After a long life of shared memories, Stella is now at peace. She will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2026, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dr. Michael Bowe officiating.
