Anthony Wayne Beaver, age 77, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center after a brief illness. The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Chad Hess officiating the service. Military honors and burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Anthony was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church of Florence, AL. He proudly served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. He and his wife always said “We served in the Air Force because it takes all family members. He was an air force maintenance technician. After retirement from the military, he worked for twenty years in automotive parts. He loved his wife’s larger family and the love and support they gave him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Autry & Dean Beaver.
He leaves to cherish many fond memories; his wife of 56 years, Karen Smith Beaver; his daughter, Kala Whitehall (Troy); grandchildren, MiKala Whitehall, Trevor Whitehall (Rachel), Tyler Whitehall, Travis Whitehall (Katie), Tiffany Shultz (Landon); brother, Stanley Beaver (Sherry); nephews & nieces, Sheldon Beaver (Michelle), Dustin Beaver, Ty Beaver, Aiden Beaver, Kara Beaver, and Shelby Beaver.
The nephews will serve as pallbearers.
