Glenda Marie McCord Lindeburg, age 86, danced into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor David Hartley officiating the service. The burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield.
Glenda was a retired neonatal ICU registered nurse. She was the queen of her chapter, Classy BamaBelles of the Red Hat Society. She was a master doll artisan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Myles Frederick Lindeburg; parents, Travis & Marie McCord; sister, Myrna McNutt; sister-in-law, Doreen McCord; and brother-in-law, Guy McNutt.
Her love and beautiful memories will be forever cherished by her children, Melissa Hartley (David), Asisan Leeann Baker (Steve), Myles Russell Lindeburg (Jennifer); brother, Travis O’Neal McCord (Jean); sister, Arthur Lynn Payne (Tim); grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua, Paige, Elisabeth, Leesha, Allie, Katie, Jaxon, Davis; great-grandchildren, Leah, Rowan, Harley, Rhys, Remi; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
