Pam (Heifner) Collins, 73, of Alexandria, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

A native of Calhoun County, Pam was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was an active member of Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church, where she faithfully served in various ministries throughout the years.

Pam was a woman of many talents and was truly gifted with her hands. Whether cooking, sewing, or creating something special for someone she loved, there was very little she couldn’t do. She had a heart of pure gold and found great joy in caring for others, especially through her love of cooking and feeding anyone who crossed her path. No one ever left Pam’s home hungry or empty-handed. She always made sure everyone had plenty to eat and something special to take home. Her generosity, kindness, and loving spirit were just a few of the many things that made her so special.

Pam loved life and treasured the simple pleasures it offered. When her health allowed, she especially enjoyed spending time in the RV, relaxing at the lake, riding in the boat, and fishing. Those were some of her happiest moments, especially when shared with the people she loved.

Above all, Pam cherished her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held an especially precious place in her heart, and in her eyes, they could do no wrong. She loved them unconditionally and took great pride in each of them.

Most importantly, Pam loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to share with others the goodness of God and all He had done for her. Her life was a beautiful reflection of her faith, her giving heart, and the love she so freely shared with everyone around her.

Pam is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Cliff Collins; daughter, Cyndi Griffith; son, Chip Collins (Sabrina); grandchildren, Lauren Summers, Brayden Collins, and Sarah Collins; great-grandchildren, Cooper Summers and Charlee Renee Summers; sister, Patricia Bagley; nephew, Kevin Bagley (Tonya); and great-nieces, Maggie Bagley and Marley Bagley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ruth Heifner; and brother-in-law, Ken Bagley.

Though she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, her family finds peace and comfort in knowing that her earthly struggles are over, her body is healed, and she is now resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior, whom she loved so dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church, a place that held a special meaning in Pam’s heart.

In accordance with Pam’s personal wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Her family will honor her life and memory privately, holding close the countless precious memories and the love she leaves behind.
