Frances Raye Richardson, 67, of Lauderdale County passed away October 27, 2026 leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, family, friends and cherished memories. Born and raised in Memphis, TN. She was the daughter of Ray and Sue McAlpin. She left a list of friends from Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. She worked in a variety of positions throughout her carrier, forming lasting bonds with those she came in contact with. She loved cooking, arts and crafts, and making people laugh. She loved expressing through pen and paper with her writings and drawings.
Fran is survived by her son, Hunter Cole (Amber) Richardson, whom she loved more than life itself. She is also survived by her two sisters, Kathy Lynn McAlpin and Melody Ann (Larry) Wilson; and many other relatives and friends.
A private family memorial service celebrating Fran’s life will be held at a later date
