Jared Wade Townsend, age 26, Haleyville, AL. passed away Sunday October 25, 2026. He was a graduate of both Haleyville High School and Bevill State Community College. He was a a dedicated nurse working at Haleyville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and the Folsom Center.
His visitation will be Friday October 30, 2026 from 12:00NOON-2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel. Burial to follow in Macedonia Cemetery.
He is survived by his close friend Josh Duckworth; parents, Jason and Laura Townsend; sister, Heather (Nick) Townsend; niece and nephew, Ensley and Isaiah Johnson; grandparents Jerry and Deborah Townsend and Terry and Darlene Kelley; aunts and uncles, Lindsey Townsend, Michelle (John) Robins, Michael Kelley, April (Jonathan) Brannon and Amy (Scotty) Thompson; a host of cousins and friends.
