Betty S. Adams Thrower, 70, of Huntsville, Alabama died October 17, 2026. She was born in Huntsville in 1956 to Jordan Day (JD) and Josephine Adams. Betty attended SR Butler High School and attended business college before going to work for John Blue as a bookkeeper. She later worked for the City of Huntsville. Betty was an avid reader, sewer and loved horses. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Billy J Thrower. She is survived by her daughter, Sara; her sister, Marie Daniels; sisters-in-law, Anita Scheidecker, Teresa Thrower, and Tammy (Travis) Hogan; and nieces and nephews, Rob Scheidecker, Adam, Andrew and Alicia Daniels.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Charity Baptist Cemetery.
