Margaret Juanita Montgomery, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Lena West; husband, Raymond Montgomery; daughter, Julia Montgomery; and son in law, Eddie Bowman.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Bowman; son, Ronald Montgomery (Rita); grandchildren, Nick Harrell (Tabetha), Brooke Bowman, Lindsey Ekstrand (Todd), Robert Montgomery (Bethany), and Ryan Montgomery (Kelsey); great grandchildren, Jenna Harrell, Janie Robbins, Addalyn Montgomery, Rylan Montgomery, and Gracelyn Montgomery; great great granddaughter, Stella Anderson; sister, Virginia Faye Adams; and brother, Kenneth West.
Margaret was a native of Rutherford County and member of Giles Creek Baptist Church.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 19, 2026 from 11:00-1:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice.
