Marilyn Williams  Marilyn Brittingham Williams passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the age of 86.  She was born on July 27, 1940, to Sidney “Sankey” David Brittingham and Mamie Estelle Day Brittingham.

She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Donald Wilson Williams; her loving daughter Sandra Beth Williams; her brother Everett Brittingham; and her sister Bobbie Weaver.  Marilyn is survived by a number of family and friends who loved her dearly and her church family at Center Star Church of Christ, where she was a longtime devoted member.

The family would like to acknowledge Dr. Arunee T. Motes and all the dedicated staff at Helen Keller Hospital for their compassionate care of Marilyn.

A faithful Christian, Marilyn was a devoted servant of God, family, church, friends, and community.  Everyone she met would comment that she was “the sweetest lady”.

Most importantly, she is, in Christ Jesus, now victorious over death and receiving her reward in her Heavenly home. As she said “I get to see Jesus and my family”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation 9-10 at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow in the chapel with Brother Adam Evan’s officiating. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Marilyn may be made to Center Star Church of Christ, Doctors Without Borders, or a charity of your choice.

You are invited to leave condolences at www.elkinsfuneralhome.com.
