Ingrid Lind Lutz, 77, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
Mrs. Lutz is survived by her daughter, Holly Ann Lutz; son, Howard Courtney Lutz (Genny); brother, Iver Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Dale Lutz, Jr.; son, Christopher Dale Lutz; and parents, Iver and Florence Johnson.
Ingrid found joy in creating beauty, whether tending her garden, transforming a landscape with her talent, or quilting and sewing with care. A native of South Haven, Michigan, she treasured returning to her family’s cottage, where she could sit and watch Lake Michigan. Those peaceful moments by the water kept her close to the place she loved and the memories she held dear.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel, with Pastor Daniel J. Thompson officiating.
Mrs. Lutz will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven, Michigan. Arrangements in South Haven, Michigan, are pending at this time and will be announced soon.
