Susie Carter, 72 of Hamilton, passed away October 13, 2026 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Nursing Home In Hamilton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026 beginning at 12:00 until service time beginning at 1:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mark Emerson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Susie worked for many years as a seamstress. She took pride in caring for her family and she and David enjoyed many years together, caring for and spoiling their grand babies. Susie will always be remembered for loving and being there for us, no matter what.
Survivors include; Children: Kevin Carter, Kim (Steven) Byrd, and Josh (Ashley) Carter. Grandchildren: Addie Grace (Justin) Camp, Haygen Carter, Ava Camp, Gage Carter, Kyler Byrd, Sky Byrd, Colton Carter, Mollie Kate Carter, and Jacie Carter. Great Grandchildren: Aspen Camp, Brooklyn Camp, and Ivory Kate Driver. Siblings: Elton (Margaret) Johnson, Dale Johnson, Teresa Nix, and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, David Carter, Parents: Bankston and Lois Johnson, and Brother: Randall Johnson
