Michael JoLynn Holderfield, 71, of Leeds, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at St. Vincent’s East in Birmingham. He was born on June 22, 1955, to the late Willie Bill Holderfield and Avis Lee Woodham Holderfield.
Mr. Holderfield is survived by his sisters, Chris (Jerry) Scott and Nancy Walker; brother, Tommy (Jan) Holderfield; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends from Leeds, Alabama, who were always willing to lend a helping hand.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Holderfield, Byron Holderfield, and Hillary Holderfield; and sister, Darlene Thrash.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Camp officiating. Burial will follow at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
