Bobby P. Martin, 58, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Hamilton, AL. He was born in Jasper, AL, to Vulcan Powell and Lucille Scott Martin. He worked in construction.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL with Bro. David Kelley officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 12–3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Dempsey Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL, will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his three sisters, Teresa Martin of Phil Campbell, AL; Rebecca Grimes (Donal) of Warner Robins, GA; and Mary Swindle of Amory, MS; one stepson, Jeremy Edgmon of Red Bay, AL; one sister-in-law, Cindy Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Kenneth Martin; one sister, Sherry Martin; grandparents, Medford and Lillie May Scott; two grandmothers, Alice Davis and Mary Martin; and two nephews, J.J. Jones and Lee Jones.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Sullivan, Lakira Sullivan, Stephen Poores, Dewayne McCarley, Brandon Berry and Matthew Berry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Caden Poores and Daniel Brewer.
