Thomas “Tommy” Randall Rogers of the Billy Goat Hill Community in Centre, Alabama passed away unexpectedly September 30, 2026.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Naomia Rogers. His two daughters, Rachel (Mike) Taylor of Centre, Alabama and Rebecca (Scott) Jenkins of Lincolnton, North Carolina. Five Grandchildren Leah (Skylor) Brumbeloe of Centre, Alabama; Lila (Jacob) Harline of Temple, Georgia; Mackenzie Jenkins, Isaac Jenkins and Thomas Jenkins of Lincolnton, North Carolina. One Great Granddaughter Ivory Rae Brumbeloe. Four surviving siblings Bobby (Treva) Rogers of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; Jerry Rogers, Ronnie Rogers, Mark Rogers and Anita Seay of Robbinsville, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Howard Rogers and Clara Orr Rogers of Robbinsville, North Carolina. Three brothers Cecil Rogers, David Rogers, and Roy Rogers of Robbinsville, North Carolina.
Tommy had the heart of a servant and the mind of a comedian. He spent countless hours helping people in his community. He was always joking and playing hilarious pranks. He loved the Lord, his family, animals and his community. He was a proud American! He will be missed by many. Heaven will be funnier with him there.
A private memorial service will be held in his childhood home of Robbinsville, North Carolina.
