Willie T. “Bob” Winter, 88, of Pontotoc, moved to his new forever home with God on October 7, 2026. Bob was a graduate of Saltillo High School and worked for Day-Brite Lighting in Tupelo for 46 years. He married Jeanette Lepard Winter on October 20, 1961, and they shared 63 wonderful years together, raising their two children, Judy and Marty.
Bob’s greatest pride and joy was his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy for many years. Bob also had a special love for Pontotoc High School sports and will be fondly remembered by many former players for his constant words of support and encouragement.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Barkley (Charley); son, Marty Winter (Kris); sister, Cynthia Winter; grandchildren, Krista McCreight (Brent), Steven Huffstatler (Marlana), Ryan Winter (Kara Beth), and Reid Winter (Destiny); great-grandchildren, Walker and South McCreight, Maci and Becca Huffstatler, and Poppy Rae, Penelope, and Tessa Winter; and brother-in-law, Tommy Stanford.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeanette Lepard Winter; his parents, Willie and Olene Lofton Winter; and his siblings, Evelyn Stafford and Paul Winter.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Billy Joe Finley and Bro. Ryan Winter officiating. Burial will follow in Pontotoc City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday morning from 10 a.m. until service time at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Huffstetler, Ryan Winter, Reid Winter, Brent McCreight, Perry Stanford, and Dale Stanford.
