Graveside services for Barbara Sharon Voyles, 79, of Glen were held at 2pm Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. James Voyles will officiate the service. Born January 9, 1947 in Corinth, MS., Mrs. Voyles passed from this life on October 5, 2026 in Florence, AL. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Barbara loved her family and spending time with them especially her son and his dogs. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and she was a cleaning fanatic. Barbara is survived by her husband of 55 years, James R. Voyles; son, Jim Voyles (Lisa Buckley); sisters, Karon Hodum and Donna Faye White; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Lipford; mother, Avis Lipford; brothers, John Carl “Jackie” Lipford, Jr. and Melvin Lloyd Lipford and her sister, Edna Lois Hurley. The family would like to thank Cindy, Demetress, Brennen, Malory, Megan, and Dustin for their home healthcare service.
