Betty L. Lanier, 87, of New Hope, passed away Wednesday.
She was preceded in death by husband, Sammy Nelson Lanier; daughter, Lisa Louise Lanier; father, Clifton R. Cody; mother, Sallie Cora Cody; sisters, Jane Norman and Jo Ann Terry; and brothers, Royce Ray, Marshall, and Herber Cody.
Surviving are son, Samuel (Sandra) Lanier; son, Jeffery Lanier; son, Clifton Earl (Dorothy) Lanier; son, Anthony Lanier; son, Ronnie (Velrie) Lanier; son, Donald (Sherrie) Lanier; sisters Ruby (James) Keel, Joyce Slayton, and Martha Pruitt; brothers, Ervin (Deborah) Cody, and Rodger (Carol) Cody; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home.
