Sarah Inez South, age 90, of Tuscumbia, passed away on September 30, 2026. The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Tim Flake speaking at the service. The burial will be at Guy Cemetery in Tuscumbia.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Clark, Barbara Wallace (Johnny); grandchildren, Wendy Wood, Brandon McDonald, Cassandra Jackson, Jamie McDonald (Whitney); 13 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Elbert & Mattie Louise Patterson; and brother, Charles David Patterson.
The pallbearers will be Jamie McDonald, Tysen McDonald, Blake Price, Gabriel Herrera, JD Price, and Jerrod Henry.
