Linda Barry, age 76, of Vina, Alabama, completed her journey her on Earth on Monday, September 28, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was a treasured mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and a blessing to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda will always be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love she so freely gave to her family and friends.
Linda was born on July 29, 1950, in Red Bay, Alabama , to Kelly and Lillian Miller. She spent her working years at the sewing factory and later at Tiffin Door Plant , where she eventually retir5ed. Linda loved God, family gatherings, cooking, being outdoors, sewing, and the color purple. Above all else, her greatest joy was her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two daughters, Carol Childers (Phillip) and Cindy Emerson; six grandchildren, Luke Childers (Jessica), Judd Childers (Morgan), Devyn King (Skylar), Darian Robinson (Clint), Haidyn Emerson, and Nikki Scott (Corey), nine great-grandchildren, Hadleigh, Holton, Bryar, Jasper, Collins, Noah, Tenleigh, Maddox, and Jace; and three nieces, Joy Ayers (Jon), Kim Phifer (Josh), and April Armour (Rhett).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gary Jackson, her second husband, John Barry; and her sisters, Joyce Allen, and Murl Massey.
Though her absence leaves and emptiness that cannot be filled, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the lesson she taught will remain forever inn the hearts of those who knew and loved hershel will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
There will be a Celebration of Life in her memory, with details to be announced at a later date.
