A Celebration of Life service for Travis Hodum, 82, of Corinth is set for 2 pm Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Magnolia Funeral Home- South Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12 pm-2 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home- South. Bro. Byron Bonds and Bro. Levi Burcham will officiate. Pallbearers include Tommy Hodum, Mike Hodum, and Jacob Johnson. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens. He was born in Corinth, MS on October 10, 1943, and departed this life on September 25, 2026, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Travis was a retired commercial truck driver for several companies with over 44 years of service. He attended Gospel Tabernacle, enjoyed visiting the Amish community, making trips to First Monday in Ripley, and traveling to Branson, Missouri, to watch the many shows. He also loved fishing and spending time outdoors. Above all, his family was especially important to him, and the time he shared with them created many treasured memories that will be carried on by those who knew and loved him. Travis is survived by his daughter, Liz Fernwalt (Alex), his grandchildren, Caleb Fernwalt and Ashley Byford; his brother, Danny Hodum; his sisters, Judy Davis and Mary Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Madelyn Hodum; his parents, Raymond and Mamie Shaw Hodum; his daughters, Annette Hodum, Patricia Ross, and Pamela Coyle; his brothers, Buddy Hodum, Jake Hodum, Billy Hodum, Wayne Hodum, Eugene Hodum; and his sisters, Violet Allen, Shirley King, Polly Pike, Rachel Spense, and Bobby Jean Hodum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Travis Hodum.
