A Memorial Funeral service for Robert “Robby” Austin Straub, Jr., 49, will be Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Chase Ackerman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Peck Funeral Home assisted the family.
Mr. Straub passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. He was born October 29, 1976, in Morgan County, to Robert Straub, Sr. and Jane Lawrence Straub.
He was employed by Metro Trek Rental and Storage, as a Manager, prior to his passing. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama, loved sports, especially Alabama football and was a loving son.
He was preceded in death by his mother- Jane Lawrence Straub and Chuck Lawrence.
Survivors include his Father – Robert Straub, Sr. (Dorothy L.), Courtland, AL and
Numerous Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
