Brandon Paul Sprinkle, August 27, 1984 – September 23, 2026, was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend.
Brandon never stopped being the playful, obnoxious big kid who knew exactly how to get on your nerves—and make you laugh at the same time. Beneath that mischievous side was a genuinely kind heart. He would help anyone he could, and he deeply valued the friendships he made throughout his life.
Brandon loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and some of his happiest times were spent on the water with his children and friends. But more than anything, Brandon loved his children. He was always working to do better and be better—not only as a father, but as a son, brother, friend, and person.
Brandon is survived by his children, Aiden Trey Sprinkle (Katelyn) and Riley Taylor Sprinkle; his parents, William Todd Merritt and Vicki LaVerne Merritt; his siblings, Miranda Kimball (John), Dylan Merritt (Haley), and Nikki James (Brandon), his swamp brothers and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
He will be remembered as a fisherman, a loyal friend, a devoted father, a loving son and the aggravating big brother who never quite grew up.
Brandon was loved, mattered and he will be missed more than words can say.
A celebration of Brandon’s life and a scattering of his ashes will be held at a later date, with details to be announced once arrangements are finalized.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to help provide for the care and future of Brandon’s children.
