Alan David Morris, age 83, of Huntsville, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
Alan was born and raised in Memphis, TN, and was married to his wife Mattelyn for 44 years. Alan and Mattelyn were excited to retire from Anniston AL to Huntsville in 2017 to be closer to two of their grandchildren. The Morris family remains grateful to the community and neighbors who supported Alan during recent years while living at Fleming Farms.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattelyn Jackson Morris. He is survived by his son, Dr. Cody J. Morris; son, Seth D. Morris (Lindsey); daughter, Caroline M. Crackel; as well as his grandchildren Lily and Miles Crackel, Lucy and Jack Morris.
Plans for a memorial service will be announced.
