Janet Dyer Roberts, 75, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026, at Red Bay, AL. She was born in Wisconsin to Murray and Hallie Howell Dyer. She was a member of Grace Community Methodist Church. She retired from Franklin County School District as a speech therapist.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 25, 2026, 1 p.m. at Grace Community Methodist Church, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Dallas Culver and Bro. Mitch Nethery officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, September 24 from 5-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL; she will lie in state at Grace Community Church, Friday, September 25, 2026 from 11-1 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Roberts; daughters, Laura Beth Wilson (Jason) and children, Brian Parker Blair II, Jordyn and Saylor Wilson and Mallory Hogue (Braxton) and Leah Torisky (John) and children, Trip and Jack; son, Luke Roberts and children, Hannah and Hayden; two sisters, Nancy Wilson and Sarah Walker (Robert); one brother, Richard Dyer and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Ayden Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Brian Parker Blair II, Hayden Roberts, Trip Torisky, Jack Torisky, Chandler Allen and Chase Allen.
