Monica Sue Clayton, age 72 of Belvidere, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 16, 1953, to the late Anthony and Lillian Ross. Before her retirement, she had been employed in retail sales. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Steven Clayton. Sue is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Michelle Clayton; grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley and Robert Clayton; and great-grandchildren, Adrain Ramos and Ava Jones.
